Dai Wako and co.

Dai Wako and his female entourage are in Hawaii at the moment. We've been working together for quite some time now and have really tuned in what he likes to ride. He's riding a Q2 in the pic which he says is his favourite model, pulling out the L word to describe. He also rides the Slash N Burn when the waves are a bit fat(and especially in Japan)and loves the speed it creates. Dai will be on the Gold Coast towards the end of the month to compete in the Burleigh Breaka Pro WQS event...

Dai Wako, Surfing Life Japan

Young Japanese ripper and all round nice guy Dai wako has had a big yeah since moving back to Japan from Australia in March. A win and a second place in the JSPA curcuit(Japan Pro tour) since securing his Pro liscence and more. Not at all sure of a single word the story in Japanese Surfing Life tells below, but you can be assured it's all positive.

Niijima Japan Pro

Big congratulations to Simmo Japan team riders Dai Wako And Nao Zenke, finishing first and third in the Niijima Japan Pro. It's Dai's first win as a professional after he secured his JSPA license to compete in the Japan Pro circuit back in April. Dai was ridding a Q2, Nao was riding a Pac-man.

2011!

Well, another year is upon us, and its been a pretty good start to the year. Between work and consistent waves rearing their beautiful heads, there's been plenty to do. And with the new logos at the printer and the website under construction, it's going to be a big year for Simmo shapes.
